An Army at Dawn: The untried American army’s first great test of battle would come in the mountains and plains of Tunisia, and continue in the invasion of Sicily. In those campaigns, they would come out of disorganization and some defeats to become a mighty fighting force for the liberation of Europe.
An Army at Dusk: The Italian army had been fighting since 1940, but in these campaigns, its sun is setting. Though often plagued with indifferent equipment and leadership, they have nevertheless fought valiantly and would continue to do so through Tunisia, and to the bitter end in Sicily.
Combat! Tunisia & Sicily is a stand-alone solitaire game of man-to-man combat in which the player commands a squad of either nationality. Although the 11 scenarios in the game center around the fighting in Tunisia and Sicily, full-war Orders of Battle are included for the Americans and Italians.
With this module, then, gamers can play scenarios involving the Americans or the Italians from any year of the war. The included Random Scenario Generator and Campaign Game allow for an amazing gaming system that is self-contained or can be combined with Combat! Eastern Front to create an even more expansive Combat! experience. Other new features found in this game include:
